What is Paladin?

Paladin represents a paradigm shift in how Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) is captured and distributed on the Solana blockchain. The protocol integrates directly with Solana validators running the Jito client, enabling them to become "Palidators" that can identify and execute profitable MEV opportunities like arbitrage trades. How Does Paladin Work?

The core of Paladin's infrastructure is the Paladin bot, which operates within validator nodes and only activates when that particular validator is the leader. This design ensures seamless integration with Solana's existing consensus mechanism while adding powerful MEV extraction capabilities.

The Paladin bot comprises three main components:

The Atomic Arb Bot executes high-speed arbitrage opportunities across Solana's DeFi ecosystem. Unlike predatory sandwich bots, this component focuses on beneficial arbitrage that helps maintain price efficiency across markets.

The CeFi/DeFi Arb mechanism leverages a permissionless bulletin board system that enables direct communication between slot leaders and MEV opportunities arising from price discrepancies between centralized and decentralized venues.

The PALAggregator operates exclusively within the leader slot, providing perfect price information that enables optimal trade routing and execution. The surplus value captured through superior routing is shared with the transaction originators.
